"First pleasant experience I’ve had with a contractor and their crew. And I’ve used many over the years (siding and deck replacement, kitchen and bath remodel, new windows/doors, exterior painting). I was skeptical working with a smaller team, that billed on a time and materials basis. But the smaller team allowed for clear, quick communication, direct negotiations and ease of tracking what was being done, when. I also feel I paid for exactly what I received (where other ‘estimates’ with companies came in at 1/3 more than my final cost with DR construction). Their honesty, professionalism, respect for each other (and my home) punctuality and tidiness went a long way with me. Never did I suspect they were doing something they weren’t experienced enough to do well. I was always able to catch a team member by email or text - and got responses back quickly, generally within the hour. Even on weekends. Really important to me - as I'm always online, but never really available by phone. Thanks Duncan and team! Looking forward to starting our next project soon!"
