"Duncan and his crew are the most competent group of professionals anyone could ever hope for. Any single member of this team could carry an entire construction crew on their own, but together they are simply magic. Skilled and experienced beyond expectation, I don't think there was a single "impossible" problem with our project that could stand up to the A-Team Duncan has assembled. And you can tell that Duncan respects the people he works with and treats them well; I've never met a crew that works so well together, even the subcontractors seemed excited to be a part of the team.
Our home is a split level craftsman, built by a Boeing engineer in the 50s and damaged by fire in 2020. Because of the fire, all the work we had done was permitted and inspected, which means that everything the crew touched had to be brought up to modern standards despite having been built by an aerospace engineer 70 years ago. I don't think most contractors would have touched our project with a 10 foot pole. But Duncan, our foreman Mike, and the rest of the team were such consummate professionals that the few minor issues that came up were all resolved quickly, with barely any delay to the rest of the project. Genuine, quality work, too, without a single sketchy compromise or quirky short cut. The kind of beautiful, elegant solutions you only seem to find in old-school craftsmanship anymore. An honestly unbelievable team of amazing individuals with a shared depth of institutional knowledge and experience that allow them to make the impossible possible. And flexible enough to make it all happen on our budget, which is frankly as impressive as the craftsmanship.
A huge shout-out to Mike, Phil, Angel, Arron, Brett and the rest of the team, especially Kim at the home office for all her efforts coordinating, sourcing materials, scheduling, and keeping everything on track. Our project could easily have spiraled out and ballooned in cost, but Duncan's incredible team kept the entire project running smoothly. I can't imagine working with anyone else and I'm very much looking forward to continuing to work with DR Construction in the future."

"Duncan and company replaced our 1,200 sq. ft., 240 degree-wraparound, 20-feet above the ground deck, which was built in the mid-1980s. It wasn't up to today's code, and Duncan fixed that in the proposal. There were also a few hidden structural and rot issues that became apparent when the old structure was removed, which were fixed at a reasonable extra charge. Philip came up with an interesting design using the full-length cedar 2x6 boards, so there are no end-grain joints in the main deck. Much better looking, hugely better than the typical deck design we had before. We also had big clunky wooden railings before, and the new cable railings are a major improvement. Philip, Scott and Jared were the team, always communicative, polite, interesting, on-time and tidy, very professional. There were a few very rainy days, they managed that well. Clean-up was impeccable. First class job throughout, highly recommended! "
